Last week a science fair was held in Dhaka College. I along with some of my friends went to visit the fair. The college was beautifully decorated on the occasion. A gate was also erected. At least, students of colleges participated the fair with their innovative projects. They opened their stalls at different rooms. They brought projects on controlling environment pollution, producing multi crops in the same land, computer technology etc.
Some students also invented some machines that are essential in our day-to-day life. All the projects were very interesting. It proved that our students have great interest in science. There was a big stage at the centre of the college ground. Every day seminar was arranged on this stage on various topics of science. The renowned scientists of the country delivered their speech here.
Their speeches were valuable and we learnt many things from them. The fair encouraged me much and I believe that such type of fair will contribute a lot to creating interest on science among the students.
